Cherry is a healthcare payment plan built for patients—not a credit card. Apply from your phone in minutes, get an instant decision, and use your plan the same day.
How it works
-
Step 1
Apply in minutes
Complete a short application on your phone or at our office. Cherry runs a soft credit check. It does not affect your credit score to apply.
-
Step 2
Get an instant decision
Most applicants receive a decision immediately. You'll see the payment plans you qualify for, including how much you'll pay per month and the total term length.
-
Step 3
Choose your plan and schedule
Pick the monthly payment that fits your budget. We apply your Cherry plan to your balance—which may already be reduced by insurance—and you schedule your procedure.
-
Done
Monthly payments, no surprises
Cherry handles your payment schedule automatically. You don't deal with billing from us after your procedure. It's all through Cherry, and the amounts are exactly what you agreed to upfront.
Or ask us to pull up the application at your consultation. We can help you apply right here.
Why patients choose Cherry
-
Soft credit check to apply
Checking your eligibility doesn't affect your credit score. Only a hard pull occurs if you accept a plan.
-
Multiple term lengths
Choose from short and longer payment plans to find the monthly amount that works for your budget right now.
-
Used specifically for healthcare
Cherry is built for medical and dental procedures—not a general credit card. Your plan applies directly to your treatment balance.
-
Instant decision
No waiting days or weeks. Most patients know their options immediately and can schedule their procedure the same day.
Wisdom tooth removal is often covered under both dental and medical insurance—especially when the procedure is medically necessary. That means patients with both types of coverage may be able to apply one toward the other's deductible, reducing out-of-pocket costs significantly.
We verify your benefits before your procedure day and apply them accurately to your written estimate. The number we give you reflects what you'll actually owe—not a rough guess that gets revised later.
Most patients with dental insurance pay significantly less than the sticker price of their procedure. If you have medical insurance on top of that, the coverage can stack, reducing your out-of-pocket further depending on your specific plan.
Cherry financing can be applied to whatever remains after your insurance is used, so you can combine insurance coverage with a monthly payment plan to bring your day-of cost down to near zero.

Oral surgery pricing varies based on how many teeth are involved, how they're positioned, and which anesthesia you choose. We don't believe in ballpark estimates that leave you guessing at checkout.
Send us your panoramic X-ray and we'll review it and come back to you with an itemized written quote, usually within one business day. That quote will show the procedure fee, anesthesia cost, your expected insurance benefit, and your estimated out-of-pocket total. Nothing is scheduled until you've seen that number and said yes.
What affects your cost
-
Number of teeth
Removing one tooth versus all four in the same visit changes the total cost, but removing all four at once is almost always more cost-effective than splitting the procedures.
-
Impaction level
A fully erupted tooth is simpler to remove than one buried in bone. Your panoramic X-ray tells us exactly what we're dealing with, which is why we need it to give you an accurate number.
-
Anesthesia choice
Local anesthesia is the most affordable option. Nitrous oxide adds a modest fee. IV sedation—the most popular choice—costs more but is often the right call for most patients.
Get your real number
Send your panoramic X-ray and we'll review it and respond with an itemized written estimate—usually within one business day.
Most wisdom tooth cases run $200–$600 per tooth before insurance. Your number may be significantly lower after your plan is applied.
Can I use Cherry and insurance at the same time?
Yes—and this is one of the most effective ways to manage the cost. We apply your insurance benefit first, which reduces your balance. Cherry then finances whatever remains. This means your monthly payment only covers your true out-of-pocket share, not the full procedure fee.
Does applying for Cherry hurt my credit score?
No. Cherry uses a soft credit pull when you apply to check eligibility; this doesn't affect your credit score. A hard inquiry only occurs if you accept and activate a payment plan.
My teen is on my insurance—how does that work?
Dependents covered under a parent's plan work the same way. We just need the insurance card and member information. If your teen is on both dental and medical insurance through your family plan, both may apply to the procedure. Bring both cards to the consultation and we'll verify everything.
Does medical insurance ever cover wisdom tooth removal?
It can—and it's more common than most people expect. When wisdom tooth removal is medically necessary (due to infection, cyst formation, impaction causing damage to neighboring teeth, or other clinical findings), medical insurance may cover a portion under your surgical or anesthesia benefits. We verify both dental and medical coverage as part of every estimate.
Can I use my FSA or HSA card?
Yes. Oral surgery is an eligible medical expense for both flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts. FSA funds are often use-it-or-lose-it at year end. If you have a balance sitting in one, scheduling a procedure before your plan year closes is a smart way to use it.
What if I don't have insurance?
No insurance, no problem. We work with uninsured patients regularly. You'll receive the same written estimate with the full procedure cost clearly itemized, and Cherry financing is available for any balance. Many uninsured patients find that Cherry's monthly plans make the total cost very manageable when spread over time.
When do I pay?
Your out-of-pocket balance is due on procedure day. If you're using Cherry, the plan is set up before your appointment and the payment schedule begins according to your plan terms. Nothing extra is due at the time of service beyond your agreed portion. We'll walk through all of this clearly before you leave your consultation.
Start with a written estimate—no commitment.
